Welcome to MBTR - The Freakn' Happiest Place on Earth
Updates [6-1-08]: Holy crap, it's June 1st. Everything is actually done now, and I went on an advertising spree for like an hour today to try and bring in at least a few new members to help get the plot rolling with the war and all that. We got an affiliate request from Wild Equines, and I was like 'zomg no way'. So that was a good thing after my advertising spazm. Keep rping, everyone. Ranneh and I and whoever else plays dead Score stallions -coughspawncough- can start that thread where we kill off the demon pretty soon. Maybe after we get through a couple threads. -Bef
G e n e r a l B o a r d This is a chat board. No advertising, please. There is a specific place to do that. You can talk about anything here, as long as you keep it friendly. Guests may post here, as well. Moderators: Befera, Ran

A d v e r t i s e m e n t s This board is specifically for sites where MBTR has been advertised where they demand a place to advertise here. If random guests come and advertise their sites, I guess that's okay too. If you spam here, I'll ban you. Moderators: Befera, Ran
T h i s I C o m m a n d Here is where one may find the rules of Maison Belle, and our main plot, which is the center storyline for all in character rping on the site. Both of these things must be read before creating a character. Moderators: Befera, Ran
C r e a t e This is where you will create your characters stats and description. Make sure you read the rules before joining. Wait for your first character to be accepted by staff before posting anywhere in character. Moderators: Befera, Ran
H e r d S t a t u s Simple. Each alliance has their own thread, where ranks and number of members can be counted and arranged in an organized manner. Knock yourselves out... please. Moderators: Befera, Ran
M o n a n M o u n t a i n s Towards the east of Whispering Valley lies the Monan Mountains. Once a place of eternal beauty and a symbol of peace for all of Maison Belle, the lovely green carpet of grass is now covered in ashes and hardened rock. For a hundred years, this place has lain barren, void of life as the lava hardened over it. Now, with horses coming back, perhaps life will, once again, start here. Moderators: Befera, Ran

G e p o n i c W a t e r s The soothing waters of Geponic Waters are no more. The once crystal hued colour of the water has now been stained a dirt brown. And yet, they still remain just as pure tasting as they had one hundred years ago. The banks might be rock and the water might be brown, but this place is still of beauty and quiet peace. Horses can still come here to relax and create new life. Moderators: Befera, Ran

G a d o n F a l l s Crystalline waters exist no more at Gadon Falls. The waters that fall over the rocks here is now more ash than actual water. The place where mares come to find a harem, or a mate, is now nothing more than a forest covered in rock and a waterfall of ash. But still, mares come here, seeking a home. Seeking a lover, one to be with. Perhaps, after death, life can start again. Moderators: Befera, Ran
R e d F i e l d s Red Fields is the place of battle. Like in the original home of the horses, it is where horses have fought and died for things they hold dear. Whether it be two stallions battling it out for a fae's heart, or the Kings and Queens themselves, this is where wars are won and lost. Some days, when a fight is not happening, you can find one of the spirits, thinking back to when they died. I'd leave them be, if I were ye. Moderators: Befera, Ran

A z u l M e a d o w 'Blue Meadow' should be called Brown Meadow. Once a land of absolute beauty, the dream land of any Luce horse, the land is now covered in rock. Yes, the stream is still there, as is the massive weeping willow, but neither hold the pure aura they used to. The land closest to the Score homes now seems more Score than Luce. E t e r n i t y S k i e s Eternity Skies is still just as large as it was a hundred years ago. Its hills, however, are no longer covered in lush green grasses they used to be. No, save for at the very top of most of them, they are hued in the brown rock that lies over most of Maison Belle. But this land still seems to stretch to the end of the world. W h i s p e r i n g V a l l e y Since the time of Fenwe, this land has been known for its beauty. It has been said that even Score stallions drop their voices to murmurs here, in awe of the land. Perhaps that beauty is still there, if only in the eye of the beholder. Whispering Valley was not left untouched by the eruption, and a hundred years has laid its toll on the land of the Luce King. Trees that had been burned to twigs lay on the ground and streams are now tainted. Is this land lovely? Depends on how you look at it. Moderators: Befera, Ran
S c o r c h l a n d Once a land of rolling dunes and golden sands, Scorchland now resembles that of a giant mirror in some places. Some of the sand has been melted down and brushed over by constant dust storms, creating a hard surface over time. Everywhere else in Scorchland is now either hard molten rock from the volcano or brown, dusty sand mixed with the pounds of ash that was dumped on this terrain. The dust storms are more dangerous here now than ever before, and the heat has long since intensified. Moderators: Befera, Ran

D r e a d f u l V a l l e y For decades, this land has been known for the horrors lurking inside of it. From Ranjit to Spawn, to Thorn to Sarwin, the rulers of this land have been some of the darkest stallions to rule over Maison Belle. All that ended when the volcano killed off the land. Trees and grasses that had fed the Score are now covered in rock and water is tainted. Still the darkest land, yes, but the worst to live in. Moderators: Befera, Ran
V o l c a n i c V a l l e y Volcanic dust has settled amounst the once beautiful lands that used to be here. An explosion happened many, many years ago, from a volcano that is no longer active. Little vegation is here; there is even less water. Few creatures live here, providing almost no food for the Score that reside here. Many times, the horses here are forced to go somewhere else to drink or eat; if it rains, the water instantly turns stagnant, because of the soot and ash. It is a horrid place to live and a constant reminder of what happened here. Moderators: Befera, Ran

J a v a i c F a l l s This land used to be lovely. The waterfall, second in the land to be found, feeds into Serenity Creek, the churning waters keeping the creek clean for drinking. However, the land itself if a barren wasteland, as close to the volcano as it is. Javaic Falls is still a place of peace, its just a little less lovely. Moderators: Befera, Ran

B o u l d e r H i l l The old, burned land, once owned by the ugly Boulder is now twice as burned. The grasses that once littered the land are now gone. The few trees that had been standing are there no longer. Ash, soot, and rock lay thick and heavy over this land. The land reeks with death, from corpses burried under the rock and the scent of the Score. Moderators: Befera, Ran

S e r e n i t y C r e e k Once the home of Cheval Roi, founder and ruler of Maison Belle, Serenity Creek is now a wasted paradise for the Rebels. The crystalline waters of the creek that runs through the territory are now muddied and ashy, hardly fit for drinking. Grasses grow from beneath the rock, enough for a small herd. A land fit for a King and Queen, now barely fit for the smallest mouse. Moderators: Befera, Ran

H e a v e n A Luce paradise. Lush grasses cover every inch of 'land' in this unreal place, and the water is abundant and clean. Clouds hang low, bringing a cool, refreshing mist to the souls of the dead who reside here. Enjoy yourselves, for you have lived clean, pure lives. Moderators: Befera, Ran

P u r g a t o r y As you step into this new land, you take in a breath of fresh air. The green grass seems to roll on forever, so does the splendid azure sy dotted with fluffy white clouds. You look to your left and see a harem of other horses, your relitives, friends, enemies, but even enemies dont seem like enemies anymore. You look to your right and see a huge oak tree, its branches strecth and curve with its old age, here is where meetings are held, for all deaceased animals. Just under this tree, sits the pool of forsite, its deep blue waters shine in the sun, dappled by the oaks leaves. Everything seems to be at peace, at last, after all you have agonised over, you feel as though you are finaly home. Moderators: Befera, Ran
H e l l When you enter into Hell, the first thing you notice is the heat. Fires spout from the ground, hissing at you like some possessed snake. The trees are also on fire, burning forever. Acid pools of water, bubbling and hissing at you as you walk past them. Devils and demons of all sorts run out at you, then halt and flee. You flex your wings and go to find your master. You are home.
B r o k e n S t o n e s In this sacred safe land, there can be no fighting. Horses come here to speak with their deceased loved ones, to converse with those long past. The old ones from the original Maison Belle lurk here, remembering things that no horse should have to remember. Moderators: Befera, Ran
